The Importance of Work

The Candle Workshop

Work is a fundamental right and an essential means for people with motor disabilities to integrate into society. It provides them with financial independence, a sense of productivity, and greater self-esteem. For this reason, the Association Mountada Al-Moukaadin established a specialized candle workshop that offers practical job opportunities and a supportive environment for people with disabilities.

The workshop includes various tasks such as pouring wax, decorating, and preparing candles for different occasions: weddings, first communions, and baptisms, as well as candles for churches, religious celebrations, and other events. This activity not only helps provide workers with a modest income but also strengthens their self-confidence and opens the door to active participation in social and economic life.

Physiotherapy

The Association Mountada Al-Moukaadin includes a physiotherapy center equipped with the latest machines and supervised by experienced specialists. Physiotherapy is not merely a means of physical rehabilitation but a cornerstone of overall health. Oral and dental health is a fundamental right for every person, and it is especially important for individuals with motor disabilities who may face additional challenges in accessing appropriate medical services. For this reason, the Association Mountada Al-Moukaadin includes a dental clinic equipped with advanced technologies and designs tailored to different types of motor disabilities, ensuring patient comfort and facilitating

treatment.

The Forum is open to everyone—both persons with disabilities and those without—offering its health and social services without discrimination and guaranteeing that each individual receives the care they need. This initiative helps prevent oral diseases, relieve pain, and improve quality of life. Oral health is inseparable from overall health, and proper treatment also strengthens self-confidence and promotes social integration

Preparatory Classes

The Association Mountada Al-Moukaadin offers preparatory classes specifically designed for students with motor disabilities, aiming to provide them with early education similar to their peers in regular schools. This program allows children to step out of their homes, interact with friends, and acquire motor, visual, and recreational skills that contribute to the development of their social and personal abilities.

Through these classes, the Forum seeks to prepare children for later integration into mainstream schools equipped to welcome students with disabilities, ensuring equal educational opportunities and broader social inclusion.

We provide a comprehensive service for the supply and fitting of assistive devices and prosthetics, aimed at enabling individuals with mobility impairments to regain their independence and improve their quality of life. This service includes a detailed assessment of individual needs and the provision of suitable equipment, such as wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, and mobility aids, in collaboration with medical and physical rehabilitation specialists. We ensure that all devices are of high quality and tailored to each beneficiary’s needs to guarantee comfort, safety, and long-term durability.
